WORKING WITH the lgbtq
community for 18 years
As an active member of the LGBTQ community, I have been working with individuals from the LGBTQ community for over 20 years and have been leading groups for over 15 years. As a clinician at Fenway Health for 8 years, I also served on Fenway Health’s Transgender Multidisciplinary Team as a consulting clinician.
I am also an active member for Boston Gay Men's Chorus where I sing as a form of positive action for equality, "inspire change, build community and celebrate difference."
Gay men, lesbians, transgender and individuals who either identify as non-binary or don't identify with any gender have unique issues and points-of-view that need attention. I am uniquely positioned and qualified to help you explore you internal and external life.
Same-sex couples have similar problems as traditional couples. Finding a therapist who can create a safe space for you and your spouse to discuss these issues can be difficult. I can offer you years of experience working with non-traditional relationships with issues of communication, understanding, sex, as well as open/closed relationships and polyamory.
